+1 on the above. I swapped my US-spec "tall" R65LS bars (which are still shorter/lower than the RT bars by a smidge) for the Euro-spec "low" bars. In the process, I had to change out the upper throttle, upper choke (these are single lines that go into a union/splitter gizmo under the fuel tank on the north american models - I assume that yours is the same here), the clutch cable, and the upper brake line to the splitter. In my case, going from tall->short, I could technically have kept the upper choke, and possibly the upper throttle cable the same, but there was alot of excess, and I'd have had the splitter things shoved way back over the airbox, so I swapped those as well.
Some folks find that swapping for the mid-rise handlebar of the K75C model is a decent compromise, in between too tall and too low.
