So you are here for Arlie's bike?  Or do you have another R65 to play on, yourself?

What is your stable like, anyhow?

Oops, guess I will have to leave now, eh?

No, for the R65 I am just chief mechanic and washer. I do ride it at times and really enjoy it except for the front forks which I think BMW started getting chintzy in 1981.

My regular rides are a '78 R100RS and a  '81 R80G/S. (both owned since new)

The other two bikes in the garage that very, very rarely come out are a '67 R50 (rough) and '68 R60 (restored)

You have seen Justin's avatar, haven't you? ;)  Naw, if you left I would just have to chase you down and beg you to stay. :)

So how is Arlie's bike equipped?  Any wind protection?  Low bars?  Just curious how she keeps up with you on the tours.  Esp. if you are on the RS.

The more I learn about you, the more I like you - RS, G/S and Earles.  Sounds like my dream garage!

Rob,
The R65 is setup with R90S bars and a Rabid Transit fairing. It has a slightly scalloped Corbin seat. Brown  sidestand. The non original windscreen with the lip is Gustafson. I temper my riding with whomever I am riding with. She is almost always within my mirrors view. That said, knowing the R65, it corners great, she only runs out of a bit of steam on long uphills.

I should have known you would have a Rabid Transit for her!  ;D

Nice set-up!
