A Fun Map

Here you can create a map of all of the states/provinces/countries in which you have ridden your R65.

Like this, for me:

You only ride in red states?    :D

No point in me doing that map, as I've never ridden outside Oregon and Washington.

OK, I did mine backwards.  The red states are the one I have NOT visited on my R65.
If I could include my Laverda, there would be less red...

What are you...some kind of liberal!  ::)

I thought about doing a countries visited, on the world map, but I didn't think family vacations from high school would really count.

Weird:  so far, none of your maps shows that you've ridden in the only two states in which I have ridden.

C'mon Mike, you're in Oregon!  And Melena, haven't you been up here yet?

You could take care of that real fast Ed...if you would only jump on the red-states bandwagon!   :o

I was trying to find a viewer to open Semper guy's map file, and found this mapping link I found a while ago.  No doubt some of you are familiar with it:

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/

This one http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=600414 is my commute to work.
If you zoom in, you can see how I ride/drive past the World Famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

I will be looking for a new route in May...

sidenote: you can type in random r=#'s in the url and find strangers' routes they have saved.  I tried the one just before my 600414 number, and it was a route in Brisbane, AU!

Ed, I have to confess.  I've not been out of California since I started riding.   :-[  I'm afraid the only state that would show up for me is California.  No point in doing that, I guess.  And this next summer I will be using up my vacation time going to Hawaii for 10 days the end of March.

But, I do plan on riding up to Oregon.  Just not sure when I'm going to get a chance.  I'd love to take some time to ride around the western states and up into Canada and eventually to the midwest and the east coast.   :-/   But where am I going to find the time?

Melena,

The only way Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and  [smiley=zzz.gif] Kansas got on my map were from the honeymoon ride over 22 years ago.

Well guess what...the honeymoon is over!

Crap.  I have tried several times on both Safari and Firefox to register, but it just doesn't go through.  Bummer.... :-[  It ain't like I've ridden all over the damn place anyway on Britta, just SC, NC, VA, GA, and TN.  Maybe next summer, I'll be able to include the states leading to WI when I go the MOA national!  8-)
