Hello, I have finally left the world of the unemployed/Semi-Retired and now have a part time job to go with my semi-retired status. This takes time away from my forum correspondence and my restoration time :-[ As you can see I've been working on cleaning up the engine and it's various covers. The glass bead blasting does not remove heavy corrosion or paint but after I have scrubbed or wire brushed that off, the bead blasting does leave a nice consistent finish. Best wishes to all of you. D2

Very interesting to follow a build that has something other than a black frame!  Lookin' good...

I think it will be very sharp looking with the wheel & frame color matched (and not black) too.

You'll have the shiniest looking airhead Downeast for certain!

Two more photos of the engine all ready to put back into the frame. I decided to  emphasize the beauty of the bare aluminum, rather than repainting the various parts black. I think it will look sharp. I'm not sure if I will keep the rear fender black. I'll just have to see how it looks when I get there. D2
