Truth, Don.

I was gnawing on some prime barbecued pork ribs at Clark's Outpost in downtown Tioga, Texas when three leathered-up Hardly-Ablesome guys walked in and took a booth near us. Their drink orders were split between water and milk. Before their food arrived, they spent time with their personal electronic gadgets planning their next ride. The conversation went something like this:

"Nope. Son's soccer game."

"Uh, my wife has made plans..."

"Busy that weekend."

BTW, there's a 2008 HD advertised locally with, "Garage kept. Lots of chrome and only 4000 miles."  Really? Seven years old and averaging less than 600 miles a year? Mid-life crisis gone stale... along with the gas, no doubt.

Yup.  Same down here.  Wannabe whatevers.

I still burst out laughing when I see someone with a leather jacket with tassles on the arms or on the handlebars.

I cannot take them seriously.  Go ride a horse or something else.  You are an embarrassment to yourself.   :D

We usually call that latigo 'round Tejas. See some HDs with leather-wrapped hand grips and beaded latigo fringe almost dragging the ground.

Takes all kinds, I guess. ::)

Latigo?    Are those the people that Gov. Perry and Donald Trump are trying to keep from crossing the border?    [smiley=beehive.gif]

;D No, no, Kenn. You're thinking Latino. Gotta have 'em otherwise we'd never get concrete finished nor roofs rebuilt. Just sayin'...

Have to say Chris I feel safer in Huddersfield than I do in Wakefield, Wife will no longer go into town by herself due to groups of iffy "foreign" men at strategic points especially near cash points.... god knows what our grandkids are going to inherit. I went to the bank one afternoon last week the police were moving a group on. I heard an officer telling them they had been outside the bank for 4 hours............

Yes. Lou, it's a growing worry for sure.

Where we are its the locals, in a small village, we now have police video vans, gangs of local youths drinking/drug taking and causing all sorts of issues. In last 12 months the Police have used the CCTV system we have in our offices to help with street knife crime.
