I had one of those last week when I left the TV remote control inside the refrigerator when I was going in there for some juice.   Apparently I hadn't had my morning cup of coffee yet and I spent the next half hour looking for the remote control.. didn't find it until I get my coffee and went back to the fridge to put some cream in it..

Cool!  :-/

You ever try to answer the remote rather than the phone? Done that more than once.

Fella once asked me, Monte, do you believe in the hereafter?
Sure I do. I'll walk into the shop and forget what I'm... hereafter.

Curious how our old ways come back. My mother (born in 1911) drove a lot in the 1930s, often in a Willys Overland, and through the 60s and 70s always liked to be driven at around 40 mph -- regular speed in the 30s -- although she no longer drove herself.  Through the 60s and 70s I toured a lot on my BSA 650 which was happy, loaded up two plus luggage, at 55 - 60 mph and guess what, that's the speed I'm comfortable at now. Then I overtook most stuff on the road, now they overtake me! As Shel Silverstein used to sing: Time, Time, Time....
