Will Rossi score his first podium after returning from his leg injury? I'm betting yes.
Valentio switches rides to Ducati for next year. Italian fan are bonkers. Rossi swan song?
Stoner to Honda next year plus several other rider changes due to the Rossi Domino Effect.

You shoulda been there, Monte, like I was.  

Lorenzo won easily after passing Stoner into 2nd and then leader Padrossa low sided.  Rossi made a spectacular pass on Dovizioso with just a few laps remaining to sneak onto the podium.  He didn't look very injured and was smooth throughout the race.

Good TV coverage of Pedrosa's crash; front tire said, "No more" and he was down. Front end just tucked under. Sliding a l-o-n-g way but came out unscathed.

Pre-race announcer said when it was confirmed Rossi was to be there, quarter-million bucks worth of tickets were sold in one day. Yamaha camp stated that Rossi was in pain for the weekend as the track is such a physical challenge. Didn't see a cane as last week. What a talent!

Can NOT wait to see the first race of 2011 when Rossi finally plants his behind on a Ducati, been wishing for this for years & finally its going to happen.

Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus (to a lesser degree) on their factory BMW Motoradd Motorsport S1000RRs are not quite yet "unstoppable" in WSB but certainly working the fast BMWs ever upward.

You're right about that, Monte.  But it's interesting that the S1000RR seems to be doing very well in the classes below this top level of racing.  In Utah at the WSB event, BMWs came 2nd and 5th, I believe, in the Super Stock races, and the leader for quite a bit of the race was on one, too (but he crashed).  

Corser says that the tires just don't hold up long enough through a race.  He was 2nd for a long time in the 2nd race at Utah, but he faded in the last half of the race.
