Since i had the transmission and rear end apart to grease the splines and inspect the swingarm i figured i would spend the $5 on a spray can since powdercoating might be a longer time away than the bike would like.
My sub frame, battery box, swingarm and rear portions of the frame looked like it was subject to chemical warfare courtesy of a previous battery, so i took some 150 and 400 grit and followed it up with some navel jelly. Topped it off with a coat of spray on rust cover paint in satin black and the bike looks so much better. swing arm and battery box are up next.
