Grubby weekend, this weekend. I capsized my sailing dinghy on Saturday and then chickened out with the sailing on Sunday. Foul weather - not for riding for fun.
I am progressing with the rebuild of my R100. Took the swing arm off and discovered the swing-arm bearing are toast - ordered some spares. They were a bit of a struggle to get out though - had to resort to the dremel. Extra cost to the rebuild. Already had to ditch the option of the full Kiehan system - too expensive.
Hey ho, still waiting for the 'friend of a friend' to do the welding. Cannot start to rebuild the bike till that is done and dusted. Have to console myself with a bit of rubbing down and repainting - still plenty to do from the orginal list....stiff throttle - best look into that as well!
