Hello to everyone! I've always wanted a Beemer and, after some 20 years as a forced car driver :'(, my recent divorce allowed me to spend a little of my meagre money on an R65 ;D.
WONDERFUL!!

C'mon in Sub and pull up a stool. You'll find this group welcoming, informative, even taking time for some consolation on life's trials and at times we'll even disagree. I see you're in Salisbury. Isn't that where the Henge is? We'll be wanting the obligatory tourist shot of the bike and...well you know.

Hey Sub.  I live in Swindon, just up the road.

If you want to get together for a ride out when the weather improves, just ping us.

I used to work at Boscombe Down whilst in the RAF, but been out for a while now.  Know the roads between Boscombe and Swindon like the back of my hand - you especially want to try the Amesbury to Marlborough road via Netherhaven, Upavon and Pewsey.  Cracking road when quiet.  But watch out for slow moving Army Convoys!

What ho!

Welcome Sub - any idea where the Dom is?

Seriously though - these are a great bunch of people willing to share anything with you (well ALMOST anything)

Cheers

Welcome!

I'd like to try some of those roads in "Old Blighty" that Hawkins wrote about.  Would be great if I could get my Chica-tita over the pond to ride them on!

In the meantime, the mountains and deserts of Utah will have to do. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Are the rims anodized or painted?

Thanks Aussie, the wheels are painted but I have plans! The heads are also uprated and twin spark plug.

Well Steve - you got your punchline correct - 'Where's me hacksaw'...

What wheels/rims are you running?
