Oil Filter Sealing O-Ring

I'm using VDO Cockpit range, but try boating supplies as they had some I was going to use but didn't like the look, though it would have been better suited to outdoor use (waterproof). However that said, never had any problems with the same make on my 65 for the clock and voltmeter, though it rarely rains this way!!
