Well.....?

Well!

I'm blonde AND topless right now, working with the digicam, does that help?  8-)

Still trying to take a good pic of this pretty blue thing.

(keeps staring at self) Dang, this sure is pretty! Dang!

There aren't enough emoticons in the library for a day like this.  ;D

<snip>I've been unintentionally collecting a number of scars as it is, just in case I need
more identifying marks.. ;D

Not like this one, I hope:

Obviously that is not me.  I don't even know how that is done and I'm not sure I want to know.  It does look kind of nice.

OUCH! That's actual scarring. (shiver) I'd never do anything like that!

The only differences between that and road rash are 1) no cute ER nurse is going to give you morphine and scrub the rocks out of the wound, and 2) no glory crash story.

I don't think that is scarring.  It is just red bamboo art.

OK, Joan, you've teased us all long enough.  Time to unveil the tat!   [smiley=happy.gif] [smiley=happy.gif]

Patience....

(whoa, how about that? the handheld's browser doesn't support smilies!)

Snapped a couple dozen pics last night, none really capture it, ya know? Then it was chores... I'll try again tonight, maybe pose with a bike in the icy cold garage. Hmmm. Have to be careful, though, don't want to lose our 'family rating'! ;>

Just behave yourself...  I guess you could put on the stipulation that anybody that want's to check it out would have to come to Ken's...

Re: the blond on page 3 - did I miss something there?  Is that a "different" way of tattoo-ing?
If so, I am with you - ouch!  Big Time!

Re: Justin's suggestion - could you imagine Ken's being overrun with little R65s all over the place?   ;D

Yeah, that girl had a 2' x 3' scarification, but I already spouted off my personal druthers about that. Vive la difference!

That would be really cool if Ken had a few more than two R65's in attendance... some of ya'll live near Oklahoma/Arkansas? Ken's is WAY cool and fun!  ;D Just hope I can make it again this spring!

I'm going to choose one of last nights brand new tat photos to put up. Yesterday before leaving the tattoo artist studio, I noticed the new art was seeping a little blood and marine blue ink, so the artist taped a piece of gauze over it so as not to leak out onto my blouse.

Well last night I was a little enthusiastic tearing off the bandage. I wanted to see the cute little thing! I pulled way too hard on the tape and it bruised my already supersensitized skin and it's really red. Argh.  :-[

Anyhow... gimme a minute and I'll have a simple one ready to post...

Joan,  you did it?  Really & truly?   :o   Oooo.  Well, I'll have to see this.  But I won't be able to make it to Ken's.   :(   Not this year anyway.  Not enough vacation time for me.

You are teasing everyone Joan.  Now we know you did it we want to see.   But I guess we want to see it all healed up, so I don't mind waiting.    ;)

YEAH MAN, 40HP OF RAW THROBBING BEEMER POWER! (snork) Well, that's what I told the tatt man, anyway. He laughed, too.

And jeez, I hardly felt it! About a tenth of the scritchy thing I was expecting. And I KNOW pain. On a scale of zero to 11, it was a 2, tiny rock in your Tevas kind of thing. (11 is dragging your fractured pelvis up a flight of stairs with no pain meds one-effing-step-at-a-time, screaming screaming screaming.)

Yeah. This was nothin'. And I am so cool now.  ::)

Oh!  Now that doesn't look so bad.  But it does look a little red and irritated right now.  Ouch.   :-/   But, I think I like it.

Okay, okay.  I do like it.   ;D  It's pretty.

Congrats and kudus to you, Joan!  Way to go!!!    [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Maybe you will inspire me to go ahead this year and get the official BMW Roundel tat on my left forearm!  My 21 year-old son has already gotten three tattoos on his arms!

(Now you're sure this didn't hurt, huh?)  :-/

Thank yew!

Sure it looks a little red and all, but it doesn't hurt unless I really flex my muscles.  [smiley=ROTFLMAO.gif] (what muscles??) Then I can feel it, a tiny spot of itty bitty soreness, and that is fading really fast, too. Excellent!

I flashed a couple of coworkers today during a slow moving meeting. OMG! That is when I learned ALL the women in my team have tats and NONE of the men do. How cool is that?  8-)
