Fuel lines

Iv'e got fuel lines on my 81' from motobins (High pressure hose for 83' onwards) as the diameter of the hose seemed to be ok, but I think it might be a bit loose for the fittings.

I also need a better pipe for my fuel overflow pipe as at the moment it is short and runs only to the front.

Does anyone have any pointers on what they use and where to get decent lines from?

I've just used automotive non fuel injection hose on the bikes without fuel injection .
I need to replace them about every 3-4 years due to the heat factor where I reside .
Currently, it's 112 F, 44 C at 1500 local .

I use automotive grade fuel hose for my fuel lines, but I just go to the hardware store nearby that sells Tygon clear tubing for fuel lines in lawnmowers/weedwhackers, etc. or aquarium plumbing and use that for the fuel overflow.   It is gasoline resistant but after several years of exposure to sun and UV it gets hard and yellow, and I just replace it then.

Like Mike. But I add a nylon 90-degree fitting that turns the tubing aft without any kinks. Be sure the exit end is positioned well away from hot headers and/or mufflers. A fueling safety rule of mine: Never fuel while sitting on a motorcycle.

The place I got this from seems no longer to be trading but this is the description of what you want.

NBR Nitrile rubber tube for Unleaded Petrol 7mm ID x 11mm OD.

Do a google search and see what turns up.
