Does anyone have a lead on kickstarters for 81 r65?

Mine is broke and cant find a spare.

Are you talking just the lever?  From everything I've read it's generally not a good idea to use a 5 speed box's kickstart very often due to it's fragility.  I have started our R65 RS one time with the kicker, just to verify it worked.  Too bad they are not as robust as the ones on the 4 speed boxes, I used the one on my /5 for several months while I was saving up for a battery!

yes just the lever. Its not that I plan to use it, but mine is broke and would be good to have it in working order. I am sure one day I will have to use it

I suppose you could get it welded back together or keep an eye out on fleabay.  I think they were a somewhat scarce special order so there are not that many 5 speed kickers around...  I suppose you could see if a lever from a /5 could be made to work, they would be easier to find...
