You weren't kidding! A lot of them cost less than my lowest repair charge! But did you notice they're made in India? The one Indian speedo I've seen so far was pretty cheap - but still, even at that, I don't see how they can sell them THAT cheap!

Aren't the "new" Royal Enfields made in India? The ones I've seen running around do so quite well. India has also cut a deal to "assemble" and sell Harley-Ds in-country. If you occasionally read the Wall Street Journal or other financial reports, you'll discover that India has become a huge financial
engine with many worldwide investors. Thailand also seems to be showing the same growth, even, among many other things, building Triumph motorcycles.
With these nations expanding their export sales, three important factors come into play: 1) Cost of labor; 2) Cost of labor; and the all important #3) Cost of labor.
