Its a wonder what adjusting the valves will do for carburetor problems.

Also, any one ever try to  put a /5 head light on a r65?

Also, any one ever try toput a /5 head light on a r65?  

An R65 headlight reflector and lens can be used to replace a /5 headlight to uprate the original 45/50 watt non halogen type to a modern H4 55/60 watt halogen bulb.

Not sure why anyone would want to do it the other way around unless it's the /5 headlight shell and instruments you like the look of ?  If so the 1st problem that comes to mind is the /5 tachometer is mechanical rather than electronic.
