Magura 15mm Master Cylinder Reservoir Retaining Screw
« on: July 15, 2026, 08:23:56 AM »
Hello,

That small screw that retains the plastic reservoir body from the underside of the master cylinder is missing on the R65LS I just purchased. Does anyone know the correct screw dimensions? It isn't labeled on any of the parts fiches I've found.

I'm assuming something very short and course threaded.

It's part # 222 here at Max. Either give them a call or call EME and they should be able to get 1 out to you. I don't think I can size it on the spare Master cylinder I have. I can look but it might take a bit to get back to you.

Thank you! The image of the screw against a ruler at the link you provided is likely enough for me to find the equivalent at the local hardware store.

I do appreciate it!

Thank you for the offer Tiedie! Let me see what I can scrounge together locally. My hope is that the rest of my master cylinder components are in good enough shape to be reused.

No problem. What ever you decide the brakes can be rebuilt all the way to the master to the calipers. Lines and splitter behind the dash.
