right now it should be set up to do a regular shift pattern. i have had gp shifting on other bikes and it works out better than you think, to me it seems more natural.

by flipping the lever down it will shift in the gp way.

and it isnt as hard as going back to right shift like i will see on the 71 trump bonnie i got the other week. that will keep me alert for sure, i am sure i will stab the brake lever a couple of times

The tough part for me on Brit bikes was when I just tapped the "brake" a little at slow speed, and found myself in neutral going "RRRMMM, RRRMMM" with no acceleration.  Easy way to lose "Cool" points among friends.
