Went to get the mail today and found a letter and brochure, for a  ' senior assisted living ' facility a few miles from me !!!!
Come visit our facility meet our staff and get a $25 gift card for Walmart !!!!!!!!
I think I'll pass on it this time !!!!

Heck, I was in my mid 40's when I started getting bombarded with mail to join AARP! And that was....well.....lets just say it wasn't last _____(week, month, year, decade). You fill in the blank.   8-)

The lower economic range of residents shop there .
An estimate of  about 60 % of the customers there are on public assistance, welfare, food stamps, etc ........
I only go in there for  Mobil 1 oil and Prestone anti-freeze for my cars, at best, once a year .

I see what you mean although when I was in Walmart  a few years ago nobody got shot so it wasn't so bad but that would have been either in Canada or New England.

Add to the equation here in the southwest part of the US, illegal, or undocumented immigrants that live here, a large criminal element  from Mexico and central America thrown in for good measure  !!!!
