R65 Mono watts output
« on: October 16, 2008, 11:53:43 AM »
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how many watts I have to play with for my 86 Mono.. The bike has factory heated grips but I am interested in running a heated jacket liner as well.

Is there a posting or place where I can find these types of stats?

thanks

Alternator output is 280 watts, don't recall how much the grips take...

I was concerned about the output because we have running lights (2@55 watts) plus the heated vest and often run at city speeds with a lot of stoplights. Bought the EnDuraLast 400 watt upgrade and am very pleased with it. The Ducati voltage regulator makes it ride like a sportsbike! (just kidding).   YMMV

Have some fun riding Sunday, Gary.  But bundle up.
Weve got a cold spell here, But your forecast high for Sunday is 12 degrees colder at 56 degrees (F).

Enjoy,
