This is all beyond anything available on this site  .

Unless Justin can get it worked into the site, we're  just gong to have to deal with it as is .

My biggest suggestion, is that the poster look at the picture after posting it, if if doesn't fit on the page, it needs to be resized .

Stop it and correct it, before it becomes an issue .

After enough members see their pictures deleted, they may get the idea !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Too keep our resident curmudgeon from blowing a gasket I have set the forum max display size for a displayed image to 1024 x 768.  From the limited testing I've done this should allow big pics to be uploaded but will autosize to the limit when displaying.

Monte, if your CGI monitor can't handle that I'm very sorry but I'll be happy to go to Fry's with you and help you pick out a more modern monitor! ;)  Ya know, they make 'em that are only a couple inches thick now!!!

Sorry, the devil made me do that... [smiley=evil.gif]

Oh, Bob, sorry to remove one of your sources of entertainment!  ;D

I would take it lower than that 250 - 500k should be ample for picture.  I am a member of some forums who restrict pictures to 200k.

The problem is that all these digital cameras are push massive picture sizes, but why do we need them?  Get some better optics or get a little closer!

Gonna print a picture the size of my house I am!

Cheers

I've been using IrfanView forever - when I take photos off my camera or phone, I open with IrfanView, reduce to 800x600 and then save in My Pictures.  Simple and easy, and if for some reason I want big pictures I can always resize....but have never done that.
