Saw someone with an an R65....
« on: June 07, 2012, 11:00:03 AM »
I was having my usual lunch just outside of the University's campus with my friends when one of them randomly asked me.

"Your old BMW is an R65 right?"

(Me)"Yeah, why?"

"Because there's an R65 right there"(Points out front)

And lo and behold, that's the first time I ever saw another R65 in this country. It's a first generation Silver R65. And judging by it's looks, it as clean and shiny as if it was brand new(or newly restored).

I did some stalking to see who the Rider was.
It turned out that it was a engineering freshman...

...A Girl engineering freshman.  :o

R65's are popular with the ladies.  An introduction ...to the forum is in order Julio.

I like the sound of siver. Although silver beige was a factory color there was never a true silver paint on the early bikes so it may be a re-spray. Nice choice of color which I think would suit the bike.

Remember, Julio... We like pictures. One of the silver R65 would be OK, too, I guess. ::)
