Football (Soccer) opportunity
« on: October 14, 2011, 02:19:54 PM »
Hi All,

My son (who is 17) had trials for a professional career as a football player for a club called Manchester City today and did very well.

We should know in about 3 weeks, could be exciting!

Congrats on your son.

Over here the vuvuzelas are completely quite, and the new stadiums have become white elephants . :'(

Did anyone hear about the dyslexic English soccer fan who was arrested in Capetown last year?
He was caught trying to blow a Zulu's vulva!

Yea - and our local taxpayers will indeed have to foot the bills for many years to come.

Fifa's strict licencing and branding control have also prevented many poor local vendors  to sell certain products during the tournament.

Fifa has even claimed licensing rights of our National Flag for the duration of the tournament :

I think we have a Canadian on Man City....Owen Hargreaves. Plagued by injuries but has talent. Came over from Man. United which is a brave thing to do but Man. United just couldn't hang on to him with all the down time. The riches of Man. City should make 'em good!
Good luck to your son!!!
