And I think the English team should try Morris dancing as an answer to the Haka.
I would just love to see Lweis Moody prancing around , waving a Whiffling stick in the air.

In fact, all countries should have a reply to the Haka. The Wallabies could whinge, the Boks could have a braaivleis, the welsh could sing hymns and the Irish could build a motorway!

The haka is a challenge,a rattling of spears, and so pretty appropriate for a rough physical sport like rugby...and really, there should be a response from the other team.''We accept, game on!'' But the haka can mean other things too, honour, respect etc. It's a bit annoying and embarrassing to see a haka done at the drop of a hat for anything these days,it loses it's mana if done too much.

We all want to see how Sonny Bill Williams goes in his first All Black test. The former league player is going to bring in a different style to our game...it's going to be exciting to watch.

He'll play for 10mins then sit out the rest of the game due to injury ;)

The local high school football team, Trinity Trojans, have been the Texas state 5AA champions 2 out of the last 3 years.  They are 9 wins and 0 losses this year.

There is a very large Samoan community here.  Check out their Haka.  Scares the crap out of me and I'm on their side!

26-16 - we won...but that was to be expected.I won't get to see the match,it's being replayed at 3.30pm,and we have an evening ride at 4.00pm.I'll hear all about it at work tomorrow.

I missed my trip around New Zealand by Motorcycle when I blew the motor on my Kawasaki a few days before leaving Sydney. It's a gorgeous country.
I'll have to have another crack at it.

As for the Rugby, anyone like to back an All Blacks/Wallaby's final in the World Cup? :)

And of course the AUSSIE HAKA.

please note in Australia a THONG is a piece of footwear. The Kiwis call them Jandles, and others may refer to them as flip flops, but here in Australia they are thongs.

And of course long before X-Factor, or America/UK/Aus got Talent there was Red Faces here in Aus.
See here for the Old MacDonald's Farm HAKA.

Perhaps we need a BMW R65 Haka.  We could put final drive boots on our wrists....and scream in German!  That would be really cool for the next Gathering of the Clans!!!! :D

The Drive Boots ...a great idea.
The thought of having to re fit them would make you want to go out and flatten anyone in your way...... [smiley=lolk.gif]
