Actually, this is the following list of items for sale, $2500
FOR THE LOT to the first person to arrive with a truck!
I am serious!
I have not ridden in two years now, and I am tired of spending the money. Â I have a new bank loan coming (for a much needed car) and I need to liquidate. Â I am too lazy to piecemeal this out, so I am offering it at a very attractive price just to take it off my hands. Â Thank you for your considerations.
1 brand new H-F parts washer. (I was getting rid of it, anyway - stupid purchase)
1
1979 R65 w/1981 Nikasil engine in good working order
The tank & front fender are freshly painted to factory spec Bronco Brown by
Billy Jay of central Indiana   (over 30 years painting BMWs.)
The bike is modified, of course, with a
solo seat and luggage rack welded to the subframe.
The bike has brand new Bub headers and like-new BMW mufflers
Included is a brand new set of BMW Touring saddlebags and BMW loops and rear rack
Old BMW heated grips with holes cut in the ends (a "duh" moment) that still work
  Broken speedometer
Nearly un-used tires, that are now 2.5 years old - Bridgestone Spitfires
LED tail light insert & Hyper-lights
  OEM 4-way flashers
1 spare '79 R65 frame, swingarm & driveshaft, with title
2 spare subframes from a '78-'80 R65
The original seat, minus the tailpiece
1 set of freshly painted (black) Heinrich Leg shields
1 freshly painted (Bronco Brown w/pinstripe) tailpiece for a '81-'84 R65 (I was planning on having a bench seat, as well as the solo)
Front & rear underseat toolbox/glovebox for '81-'84 R65
1 short block 1980 R65 w/some damage to the case. (internals and salvage)
One right-hand cylinder (cast iron) and cylinder head (rebuilt by Bob Grauer).
2 (?) R-H valve covers (square) - one has a "R" on it, the other, no mark.
4 R65 cylinder studs
The original headers are pretty nasty, but they are here and with no holes, but a fair-sized dent in the left one.
1 damaged, but fixable R65 front fender
1 totally trashed 1979 transmission (inside not seen.)
1 pair of well used OEM mufflers, still in good working order
1 alternator rotor
1 chrome Reynolds luggage rack for '78-'80 R65
The Honda
1976 Honda CB200 w/title and a bunged-up centerstand/brake lever pivot
The tank is in very good condition, with a beautiful interior
The engine runs, and I have replaced the broken shift-shaft
I have yet to put the side covers back on the engine, which I was replacing the phillips-head screws with hex socket head screws.
Otherwise the bike came to me complete except for brake & clutch levers and mirrors
I have installed a black drag handlebar, and I still have the (slightly bent) original bar.
I have replaced the front drive sprocket (1 broken tooth) and have a new rear sprocket and chain.
One of the countershaft cover's mounting bosses is broken from the engine case.  All parts accounted for.
New clutch springs & oil screen installed with the replacement shift shaft.
Â
1 set of brand new patterned muffers from
David Silver Spares1 set of brand new short reverse-cone mufflers from ? Â (except for one perforated screen, you can see straight through them. I bought these first, then decided I could put up with the seams on the replicas for the enhanced performance and quiet.)

1 CB200 Honda Shop Manual
1 OEM replacement pivot for the centerstand/brake issue
1 special tool for disassembling the centrifugal oil filter
1 spare shift-shaft (good)
1 spare brake pedal (much nicer than the original)
1 complete set of gaskets, and one complete set of gaskets opened for this project.
2 carburetor rebuild kits.
Everything needed to rebuild the air filters (NLA, but rebuild-able with some effort).
