They're back!

After a relatively bomb free 3 years, an unknown group detonated 2 IED's at 2 luxury hotels in Jakarta. 8 killed and about 60 injured. fortunately Cargonaut and I are about 1200 k's from the action but I think there is going to be a drastic increase in my business.
Both hotels were meant to have some of the best security in Indonesia but I did a covert survey a few weeks ago and found it to be the opposite. As they say, "it isn't the kit, it's the guys operating it!"

US national media outlets stated that the current belief is that the bombers were actually staying at the two hotels. No word if they were included with the body counts. Check six, Colin.

This type of activity is not going away any time soon, if ever .

I just wonder when it will start happening again in the US, as people have gotten way too complacent about the threat .

Our southern border with Mexico, is an 'effing' joke, from a security standpoint .

FOX News reports said they were masquerading as businessmen and had been checked in and living in the hotels for several days.  I wish there was some way all of these creeps could be IDed and strung up before taking a bunch of innocent bystanders with 'em...  If they want to blow themselves up it's fine by me as long as they do it out in a large field in the middle of nowhere...

So Sad .......I was Listening to a debate about Afghanistan and the cost of the armed forces involvement(billions) the obvious question who is bankrolling the Taliban al qaeda and all the other terrorists was ducked several times. Kill the roots and the tree will fall i think the PC brigade have much to answer for appeasing some of these unsavoury groups and not standing for the rights of ordinary people.

Everything Michael Moore produces has a rabid leftist viewpoint so I pretty much discount anything he has any involvement in...

I believe a lot of these groups are funded by Saudis with deep pockets, radical Islamist governments, numerous Muslim "charities", and drug sales...

I take everything with a pinch of salt and certainly dont agree with everything he comes out with but i thought the point that many key Saudi figures managed to get flights out whilst mere mortals were grounded told its own story.
