Let's cook out!
« on: March 17, 2009, 09:29:23 AM »
It's SpringTime! [smiley=beer.gif] 80+ degrees here today. Sun shining. No wind. CAVU!

Just finished the seat reupholstery job on the '83 so now it's... Time to roll out the BBQ grill and put your weiners on the fire.  ;)

This is a cooker I could get into... literally.
Happy St Pat's Day to all  [smiley=beerchug.gif]      Monte

That's one great looking grille !!!

Looking at the license plate, CAR-B-QUE, has a different meaning, here in the ' Valley of the Sunstroke'.

The local TV news and radio traffic reporters coined the term, : CAR-B-QUE, to the numerous vehicle fires we have here during the evening 'rush hour' during our summer/'surface of the sun' season.

I've seen the automotive furniture. A pretty doable project really.

For a short while, there was a Discovery Channel program 'bout some California cats making high-end furniture from salvaged aircraft pieces parts. Pretty snazzy stuff.

HMOG, that Hemi is huge!

Monte - I like it - Oz tends to have either VeeDub or old Holden BBQ's for some reason. Guess we like smaller serves?

Adelaide also has the Texas Rib Machine - Ribs that come to you.

Mmmmm - ribs  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I do hope the "Trana" was a wreck before being modified.

(For our Non Australian cousins the Holden Torana usually has a silent 'o' as pronounced by typical Torana owners)

Looks pretty great .
