One of my clients and I are actually developing some new plasma cutter products at this very moment.   I also turned down an offer to startup a new business developing a laser cutter much like the one shown here last spring - it is the next step in the evolutionary process for general metals cutting, but the startup thing was going to mean some MAJOR time investments (80+ hrs/week).
