HELP on Searching

So about a year ago when I bought my LS I went through every post/thread on this entire site and wrote down page #s and titles of the posts for things I thought important. Now I go to look for these and NONE of them are there? The search function on this site is less than ideal so that is out. ANy ideas what happened?

The search function works well for me.  Are you sure you are specifying how far back to search as the default is only 1 week.  You want to change that to 1 year or all posts.

Not sure why you can't find anything other than what  Barry mentioned.  You might set the search date from the beginning of time.  The only posts we routinely get rid of is really old stuff in the classifieds.

I have had issues with the search when I have been very specific about what I entered into the search field. Once I put in a more generic search I got more results and was able to scroll through them and find what I was looking for.
