New member map up and running!

Hi everyone,

in Rob's absence I've volunteered to start a new R65.org members' map.  I'm ready to take addresses and start adding markers!  You can send me information via a PM

I have three categories of locations:  1) Members   2) Shops and Dealerships   3) Campgrounds

For member locations I will place the marker wherever you tell me.  If you just give me a town name, I'll place the marker where it lands on google maps.  If you give me an intersection, I'll put the marker there.  If you want to give me your actual address--at your own liability--I'll place the marker right on your roof.

If you'd like me to add something to the other two categories please provide the official name and address of the shop/dealership or campground.

As far as security is concerned, the map will only be viewable by clicking on the link.  This means map viewing should be restricted to members logged into the site since the forum does not show hyperlinks to visitors.

P.S. I won't confirm additions to the map during the initial influx of locations.  If you send me a location and don't see it on the map within a few days just send me a reminder

Question:
Will "The Map" link be posted in some obvious spot on the forum? This initial posting may get buried fairly quickly.

Justin made a sticky in General Announcements for the new map, so the first post here should make its way over there soon.

I'll probably add some bit of info to my signature as well for promotion since stickies sometimes get the "summer reading" treatment.  I'll be the first to admit guilt
