History of the BMW Roundel

One of the best things about being a member of the BMW MOA is their fine monthly magazine, the BMW Owner's News.  In this month's issue, there is an article on the history of the famous roundel, including some stuff probably a lot of folks don't know.  I have no idea how many members of this forum are also BMWMOA members, though.  Perhaps more than I think!

Anyway, I scanned and emailed a copy of the article to NC Steve, who has been stricken with the BMW Blues (he wants another one).  If any of you wish to read the article, go to my CP and send me an email to my email address that is listed there, and I'll be happy to shoot you a copy!   [smiley=bmw_smiley.gif]

I have yet to find solid 100% agreement on the BMW roundel history. Researching the blue & white is sorta fun. I'd be interested in the the MOA article as I'm one of those "not" members. Will drop a note to John as he always digs up good stuff.

Meanwhile, here's a few roundel histories I have bookmarked in my compuKer:
