Hi all, just a quick hello and a huge thank you for all the info i have gathered over the last couple weeks. I recently bought an '83 R65 as a second bike/project and while its in great shape, it needs just enough TLC to keep me busy on the weekends  :)

Glad to meet you all and I will be posting in the tech forum shortly !

Cheers!

Looking pretty good!

Though it does appear that a seat re-covering may be in your near future.

It looks great.  Did somebody add the second front disk brake?

Nice!  Another '83.  Good year.

I love that you have the dual disc brakes.

This forum is a wealth of information and great people.

I was told that the dual front disk was an option for this year...? The guy i bought it from wanted to sell me the bike without the second disk since he claimed he could get some good $$$ for it on eBay :)
obviously i convinced him otherwise
