Surf City Tech Day, Saturday 4/14

Sorry I didn't give you guys a bit more notice (I thought I had gotten to every list and forum I'm on).  

I'm having my 12th Surf City Tech Day at my house in Santa Cruz, CA, this Saturday.  It will be Airheads and Vintage, and usually other bikes, too.  You can read more about it and RSVP here:

As I write this, my friend Don Cameron is driving his big smoker here from New Mexico.  We're going to fill it with sirloin and smoke it for 14 hours, and it's yours for lunch.  

Come on out if you can.  The weather prevaricators are saying nice things about Sunny and 70ish on Saturday (but even if they lie, the event goes on).

Daryl, I think if I left right now I still wouldn't make it on time.  For the record, I do love a good sirloin.  We'll be following you in the CBR this Fall.

Thanks for the good thoughts about the Cannonball.  You'll be real proud of me if you read my most recent blog posting.  I am holding up the reputation of Beemer riders being extremely cheap!
