Most winters we get alot of snow. I drive a Plow for the county DPW
(don't yell at me for the salt I don't like any more than you) But this has been the warmest, least snow winter I can remember. Been plowing since
89.  I also have a Ural Gear Up and been riding all winter. ;D

Welcome aboard!

A Gear-Up!  Cool!   I am in the process of putting together a sidecar rig with an R100 as the tug.   I was seriously looking at the 750cc Urals for awhile, but household income took a serious dive last year and I'm on a DIY path now.

It's been awhile since I was out your way - spent some time at Letchworth State Park - very pretty out there and riding around the Finger Lakes..

Welcome.  I, too, have an R100 that doesn't get ridden much and I'm casually looking for an old Vetter Teraplane.  I almost bought one in '79 but a certain "sidecar expert" told me that modern BMWs were not suitable as sidecar rigs and talked me out of it.  Probably because I wasn't going to buy it from him...
