I'm Not Quite Dead Yet...

My yellow R65 is coming out of the shop next week!  Checked it in for a brake job (I delivered the parts) and one other thing (I forget) last summer...then the owner made a quick run without a helmet to pick up some parts, and was broadsided by a cell phone user, and experienced both broken bones and a bit of brain damage...so it's taken him a while (!) to get caught up on his work. He just spent two hours cleaning multiple layers of paint off of the valve covers (they were blue when I got it) and powder-coating them black.  A co-worker has an interest in maybe buying it, but if he doesn't I may sell the 2009 Bonneville and stick with the R65. :D

Good to hear from you, Burt!

Sorry for your mechanic's misfortune but glad he wasn't using your R65 for the parts chase.

Check in more often cuz we miss you.

I would keep the R65.  Those Bonnevilles are fairly common, but that's one of the nicest looking R65s around.  And I say that with mine out in the parking lot, oh well.
