Anyone have a recommendation on a company (east coast US) they like - or someone to avoid?

Thanks!

Road Trip!  The best way to take delivery on a "new" bike you really want to buy.

I agree with Bengt Phorqs.  Take a road trip.  Even the best pics hide flaws.  I've gladly walked away from many bikes upon inspection.  Or keep looking until you can find one close by.

Road Trip!  I wish . . .

My preference would be a road trip too but just not practical at the moment.  Luckily the price was right  -  it's kinda of like buying a pig in a poke but if I lose the gamble it''s not a great loss.

So the bike is supposed to be on a truck this morning and on the way.  It's like early Christmas here - I am like a little kid that cannot wait to see what I got...  Probably a little early to go stand in the driveway and wait though . . . ;D

I tried uship - we'll see how it works out - awaiting delivery tomorrow or Friday.

BTW - LOVE your R60.  We are hoping to do something similar - at least go for that stripped down look.  Main draw backs to those big plans are: money and skill. Oh, and knowledge.  Other than that we have it covered! ;D

Aïda, they shipped it OK but they were SLOW!!!

I think one of the best bangs for the buck is Forward-Air.  I've had two shipped by them and you get it in less than a week.  The only caveat with them is the shipper needs to be willing to deliver it to a FA terminal and put it into the shipping container.
