Just sayin hi!

Ive spent a year in my garage working on my 73' r60/5 and a friend suggested this place to me from another site.
Everything on this bike has been changed, modified and glorified. If its not your thing I think you can still look around to see some stuff you may really like. :)

I would say that is about as stripped down as it gets!
What is the headlamp from?   An interesting place to put the ignition switch, too!

You couldn't register that bike in this state, but it is pretty cool - well, I guess one COULD register it here, it just wouldn't pass mandatory inspection tho.

That headlamp is a 4" bates with a vintage Mercedes light.

Rule of thumb when building custom bikes - always, repeat always register the bike before taking it apart....

As for weight, I have no idea, these bikes are little tanks and I dont plan on racing her so for me its not all that important.

I'd not be surprised to see this bike or something similar crafted by those Aussie cats at Deus Ex Machina.

Pretty cool [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Cool as Hell, whats not to like?

Don't confuse us with the "Only OEM Guys" we like our bikes running rather than Concourse Winners.

Using an old Ford or Volvo relay is not a Sin, it's a Victory. Same thing with your non OEM Carbs, if it runs better for it, DO IT. Just drop us a line and let us know how it worked or didn't work.

Thanks guys...

Those firestones can be bought from Coker tires. I will tell you that they suck, suck in ways that a braced face buck tooth whore would suck - scary in other words!

The Exhaust is a highly modified Luftmeister 2/1. They are super hard to find and it was sacrilege to cut them up, but I did so there.
The good that came from me cutting these up is that I will be replicating them in the very near future, first just the headers but I will be also making the cans with custom baffle set ups. These add HP and sound great. Even when they are stock they are much loader than any other system, which many BMW dudes complain about -  ::) :P

Terry, looks sweet. I'm down in San Diego but will likely take my bike up to your neck of the woods (around Fallbrook, most likely) with a few other Airhead guys in January. Would love to stop by and see yours!
