Brit R65 owner coming to US
« on: August 11, 2010, 01:30:12 PM »
One of my daughters lives in Minneapolis with her Minnesotan husband - they have just produced a baby and I will be visiting them 5 - 10 September, being in Minneapolis (Bloomington) most of that time. Would any R65 people in Mpls like to meet up for a coffee or a beer around that time? If so pls pm me here in England. John.

Congratulations, Grandpa!

Indianapolis is a little far from Minneapolis...

Congratulations !

If it were someplace in Vermont, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts I'd consider joining up with you, but Minnesota is just too far.   Who do we have in Minnesota now ?   We used to have one or two from Wisconsin, on the previous (or previous-previous) forum?

Hmmm.  California is way far away.  Darn.

Let me think on this and see if I can think of anyone close to there.

Oh!  By the way!  Congratulations on the new grandbaby!   [smiley=clap.gif]

Just looked at the R65 Google Map.  There's a Jon P in Wisconsin and Clutch in Iowa.  Those are the 2 closest people to Minnesota.

Thanks for kind remarks, anyway! When I attended my daughter's wedding in Minneapolis it was December 2008, I did see one airhead, it was parked in somebody's front yard and looked a sad, snow-covered sight. I don't imagine too much was left of it after a Minnesota winter!

Rand Rassmason lives in MN, but he's not on the forum as far as I know.

Firefox says I misspelled his last name.  It's probably correct.
