The Dragon will live a bit longer...
« on: July 04, 2009, 10:45:06 AM »
Due to things beyond our control the Dragon might live another year.  Although we aren't going to make the trip right now it did give me an excuse to buy some "touring lids" for the bags on the R1150 RT-P!  ;D

So, I guess we might make a couple of day-trips next week and I'll probably mount the RT-P on the lift, rip off the "tupperware" and run all of the wiring for my driving and fog lights and try out the mercury manometer I snagged...

The annual Peach Festival is next Saturday, 11 July, in Weatherford, Texas. A possible destination for y'all.

Lynn and I hit it every year for all things peachy... iced teas, ice cream, pie, cakes, and we also take home a bushel of fresh peaches... Lynn does the peach preserve thing with amaretto, pecans and even a few plain preserves.

Anyway, it's a great day trip event with shops and artisans and a good ride. Go early as we do and beat the afternoon heat.
