Welcome to your new home!
« on: February 23, 2009, 12:32:23 PM »
Things happened a bit more abruptly than I had planned!  :o  Normally DNS is a bit slower propogating and things started resolving to the new server before I had all of the data pulled across!  [smiley=steinigung.gif] There may be a couple of messages missing but everything should be complete as of late yesterday evening.

You will most likely need to go into your profile and fix your signature line.  It seems if you had a multiple line sig the returns between lines were converted as "&&".  Just delete the && and put the return back in.

You will notice that you can now post two attachments on a post instead of one.  Also, the help functions appear to be a bit more complete.

You will also notice a "Gallery" tab.  I just added this so I don't know whether it will work as expected but I will start testing it.

RSS is working well. It's not category specific feed, but still very welcome. I've been following new posts across categories via Google Reader today. Much easier than clicking around. Thanks!

The new joint's lookin' pretty good!  8-)
Strangely though, I tried to log in this afternoon at work, and while the page showed me signed in at the bottom, it was still calling me a guest and wouldn't let me post anything. Tried it several times with the same results each time. Weird. And now, the page seems to shift up and down a few lines every 10-20 seconds or so.
Just trying to report anomalies as they occur...

But, I'm sure the kinks'll get worked out, and it does look like it'll be a better site in the long run.
Thanks for all the hard work. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Well ain't this just spiffy?

To all who had a hand in this - you are to be congratulated - notably you Justin.

It has been a huge job and it has been handled with aplomb.

Now - if can just find that donate button...... ;)

<Cool Justin! I'm not sure if this is a new feature, but I'm happy to have RSS!> Ummm - yeah me too - if I knew what the heck it was and what it did.
