I too wish everyone a great Thanksgiving. I give thanks for all the good friends here on the R65 Forum.
I just got back from my Mom's place where my Brother and Sister-in-law and I cooked up a turkey. We had everything else pretty much done. But I made the gravy after we pulled the turkey out of the oven.

Mmmmmmmm. And the turkey turned out great! Of course, we had the requisite pumpkin pie.
My Mom's neighbors, an old biker dude and his wife who have lived a very full life and are both not doing very well healthwise now, have always been very nice to my Mom and watch out for her. I saw him outside getting his mail so I went out and talked for a bit. Turned out they weren't going anywhere as his wife wasn't up to leaving the house, and they weren't going to have much of a Thanksgiving. So, we took over a nice Thanksgiving dinner for them with Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, winter squash, and Waldorf salad. They've both got diabetes, so we thought better of the pumpkin pie with all it's sugar. They were so surprised and so happy that we had brought it over. Sometimes something simple like that doesn't seem like much, but it can really brighten someones day.
