Hello All,
I have been lurking around the edges of BMW land for many years.... I often peruse the BMW club pages for interesting tidbits......I want to thank Rob Valdez 79 R65 for posting a notice about a NOS Reynolds rack and bag mounts he saw on Ebay. I purchased these and they are exactly what I was looking for. They were NOS wrapped in 1981 Desert times newspapers and in the original box. They fit my 1981 R65 perfectly and were easy to fit as they came with all the original hardware and instructions. I found a set of vintage Krausers on another BMW club site and have gone from naked to "tour worthy" in a couple of weeks for a fraction of all new prices.

I have had other motorcycles and enjoy the R65 as much as any other for it's light weight and handling prowess. Thank you all for the helpful advice and support I have enjoyed (and will enjoy) in the future................

Feel free to post & visit here often - we especially like pictures, either of your bike or places that you've been or planning to go.
You can even talk about other bikes here too, but of course, we have a special fondness for the R65 and its rarer little brother R45.
