So how does this sound? Over the summer spell out " BMW R65 ORG"  using the first letters in city limit signs and the first digits on hwy. signs. Take a picture of your R65 in front of the signs and then share them here when done.

Good!  :)

Tomorrow I leave for the Gathering of the Clans rally, and my first interstate highway is ;)

Sounds fun!  We'll see who finishes first.  Hey, if you can only use the first digits, then Robs sign still only counts for the 6, right?  [smiley=evil.gif]

I'll be on Hwy 64...

I considered that, and I think it is a good rule, Aïda. :)

That sounds like a good challenge !

Our Granite State BMW riders club usually has an annual contest to see who can bag the most historical
markers (has to be an official state-signed historical marker) by photographing them with their BMW
in the photo too.

I'm going to be a little bit behind on this one, but I may be able to do it by the end of summer.  Let's see, I've got the "W" for Windsor - that's where I live.    :)

The rest of them I will have to think about a bit.

(Let's see, for the numbers there is Interstate 5, but I really don't like being in the Valley, so it might not be until September that I get that one.   Hmmmm)

I've just about got it figured out without going more than about 20 miles from home...except for that darned O...unless we can use county signs as well...But then, that's not really the point is it?  We want to find NEW and exciting places to go on our motorcycles!

I could get all but the O on the trip up to the Gathering...hmmm...do I really want to take that many breaks?  Probably not.

Fact of the matter is I can do the whole thing on one tank of gas but that would'nt make for very cool photos would it? I'm really looking forward to the pics from some of our non U.S. riders!

Sorry, I didn't even think of it.  Down and back was interstate highway, and if I wasn't on the road, I was fueling, peeing, drinking an energy drink, or napping.

I'm saving it for in-state stuff later this year.  (I am done with my 'touring' for the year!).
