Just joined several days ago. Own a 1982 R65 among other airheads. It has a Rabid Transit Fairing, Russel Day long Seat, and heated grips. Great Ride.

Boxer Works is on the other side of town from me. I've been dealing with a small shop in Elijay called Apex Cycle. They do great work on airheads. I have phots if I can figure out how to post them.

Are you allowed to add an Avatar? I don't see in my profile the ability to do that?

Looks like a good touring bike to me!

Yeah, you can add an avatar, but if you want a custom one, I think you have to have it stored on the www someplace.  I have never bothered to set up a photo site yet.  I'll get around to it eventually, when I'm really bored.

In your profile, click on options (up by your user name), then edit profile, then select  "options;" the first option is "Personalized Picture."  Hope this helps,

Another pic. Great touring bike. Rode it from Atlanta to Washington DC several years. Lost the coil on the way home. Found out that someone in its past put an LS coil on it. Couldn't find one anywhere. Ended up coming home in the back of my pickup. :-/

That looks very nice - quite sharp for "standard" R65   ;-)
Seriously, welcome aboard our wonderful club !   I think that
your R-T fairing is one of the nicer looking ones I've seen.
