What is a battery that fits? 
I have jammed an oversized lead acid from Walmart into the slot, but am unable to use the anchoring strap.

Here's a typical battery that fits the battery box for an R65 .

You can do a search online for similar type batteries possibly in your area to avoid shipping costs .
