Birthday list fixed
« on: March 07, 2018, 10:49:46 AM »
I was looking at the Birthday list and noticed I was not on it, along with many others. Justin performed his magic and fixed a file that had errors since the last upgrade. What a wizard we have for a leader, huh?

There are 433 members and 153 of us have chosen to list their birthdays. With this information the site calculates your age and posts it for all to see.

Data of this "human interest" type just fascinates me as I assume it does all of us. ( cough cough). After perusing the numbers I found out that the oldest is 80 and the youngest is 22 and the average age to be 55 years , meaning  most of us can report to Mc Donalds's in the morning for a discounted brew.

The oldest group was born in February and averages 62 yrs old, sorry to say I attributed to that winning number. The youngest group was born in March 50 yrs old. The highest birth months were February and August at 19 and the lowest birth months were December and April

I want to personally thank the 6 members that kept me form being the oldest dog in the pack.

Now you know  8-)

Interesting  post.

I always find it uplifting to see people still riding in their 70's. At 63 I feel a relative youngster with a few years ahead of me yet.

And the 22-YO posted 5 times about his bike, and has not been back since.  2 years ago.

At 65 I am hoping for another 7 or 8 years of riding, but i must say the weather does have a big effect on when and where I ride.
I have never been a long distance rider, most of my riding was down on trail bikes with a big gap after getting married.

On the other end of the stick there was the fellow at 80 that was aboard recently just to sell his bike.

The folks that listed their BD were only 35% of the group so we were dealing with flawed data to begin with. Maybe only the old guys don't care about having their age shown. Could be that the other group is from a different time period where personal info like that would be guarded, soooo many factors, junk science at best  ;D I do like numbers and once in awhile you can get some insight if things reoccur enough. Those observations probably wouldn't be science but on occasion , good enough for me to run with.
