That looked a rough track.  Rather you than me.

Nice to see an R65 racing though.

Cheers

Dan,

Any way it could capture tachometer date?  That would be very "instructive".  What kind of "speed" mods have you done?  I can barely break 100 mph on a long interstate blast, but I'm probably considerably heavier than you are... :P

I was just working tonight to try to get the tachometer into the camera range.  The Laptimer software accepts OBD data input, but I do not have any OBD data on the bike.  The motor is stock, except I replaced the Bings with a set of 36mm Mikuni's.  The Mikuni's gave me about 3.5 more HP on the dyno.  This video shows me hitting 105: http://youtu.be/g_DzjgabxfA?t=5m12s .  I was running a 37/11 final drive in this race, so that would put me at about 7,000 RPM.  I use a redline of 8,000 when shifting.

Thank you muchly - I see there is an Android version available, I will have to rig my phone for the next track day.

BTW, I am impressed with your mastery of the shallow entry into a corner which on exit puts you in front of bikes that have an acceleration advantage, and which as you come across their bow are usually traveling faster than you,  but gives them the problem of having to round you up before the next corner .

I am a big guy, 250 lbs.  I cannot match the acceleration of the Honda's, so I need to out brake them and try to carry as much corner speed as I can.
