Hi...

Dave here, a new member based in Bournemouth Dorset.

After a long time wanting, I just bought a 1981 R65.

Now, if it would only stop raining for more than 10 minutes :'(

Welcome to our asylum, Dave.

Things are usually pretty mellow hereabouts, unless we don't get our required dose of member's motorcycle pics...

Then, Nurse Ratched gets on our case. Can get ugly. Don't let that happen to us!

Thanks for the welcome...

I will add pics in time but when I bought the bike it had a full fairing on which, after riding round the block, I've decided to remove. As such the bike is a bit of a mess at the moment.

Welcome,

Naked is best - even in the UK.

Cheers

What kind of fairing?? I'm in the midst of deciding what to do about mine.. Go back to stock by buying more parts, or replacing it by buying more parts.
'04 R1150 RT ~41000 miles
'86 R65 / '84 motor ~72000 miles. SS lines, Spiegler rotor, Progressive monoshock, Keihan silencers, a piece of Pichler fairing.
'76 CB400F ~26000 miles. non-runner!
