A cool new T-Shirt!
« on: January 29, 2014, 12:49:02 PM »
I wanted to say "Thanks!" to NCSteve for sending me this way-cool R65LS T-shirt!  He knows this is the original BMW I remember seeing on TV way back in 1982, when I was watching a made for TV movie called, "The Day After - Beyond Imagining", about a nuclear attack on the US where the first strike hits in Kansas.  Steve Guttenburg was a not-yet big time star, a college student (I think) who rode a Henna Red LS in the movie.  I remember thinking how cool that bike looked.  That was the very first BMW I saw that I wanted to own someday.

I don't know where Steve got it, but I sure love this shirt!  And someday, I will own one of these bikes!

Thanks, Steve!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hi John!  Looking good!

Thanks for the heads up on the movie.  I am going to pick up a copy on Amazon.

I watched the movie the other night, John.  Disturbing, to say the least, but a great movie that everyone living on this planet should see.

After the first EMP pulse, I knew we had seen the last of the bike in the movie!
