Movie: The John Penton Story
« on: October 03, 2013, 07:26:13 AM »
Oh, how I miss my Penton Jackpiner...

We've discussed the "motorcycle movie" Best Bar in America -which I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed- so now we can look forward to the upcoming release about the man and his machine, John Penton.

Scheduled for a big screen premier out in Cali, I expect it ultimately to be offered the same way as Best Bar... via DVD and on-line sales.

Bring it!

Mongo Mon, what happened to all those cool dvd's you were going to let me watch?  And haven't heard about this "Best Bar" film.  I've been wanting to see the Penton story.  Like you, I loved and miss my Jack Piner.  Probably the best motorcycle I ever owned (once KTM fixed the second gear).

If you'd stay "in country" for awhile, I might loan some films to you. An over-due notice sent to Romania might not do anything.

Best Bar is pretty danged cool. Airhead side hack rig, beautiful scenery, multiple bars n' drinking plus a nice pair of... well, I'll let you discover those for yourowndamnself. There's even a message for us in the film. Glad I bought it. It's definitely gonna be replayed several times.
